Trond Sollied can’t wait to face Feyenoord today

As the Eredivisie kicks back into action, a embattled Feyenoord visit Abe Lenstra today to face Heerenveen. Only two days ago, following endless internal grumbling their manager Gertjan Verbeek and two assistants left, leaving Leon Vlemmings to manage the command and are surely an opponent ripe for defeat. Trond Sollied’s confidence today is buoyed by a not only healthy lineup that includes new man Viktor Elm but an opposition in disarray.
Although Trond Sollied has noted concern that Feyenoord will try to rally a listing ship, with so little time to prepare under their new manager they will employ the same approach that saw they flounder to the bottom-half of the table.
