what will Ã…ge Hareide’s resignation mean to Heerenveen?

By: Porter | December 9th, 2008

After disappointing play in World Cup qualifying, Norway’s manager Ã…ge Hareide has resigned his position.

Norges Fotballforbund
president Sondre KÃ¥fjord has said with his resignation that:

“We need a coach with power. “We’re two points behind the playoff spot, and will, of course, push for that.”

The inside track on the position is Trond Sollied who turned down the position previously but apparently is anxious to accept it this time.

Sollied is eager to accept b/c he’s been looking shaky at Herenveen lately and another poor spell of play could doom him. So might as well go for Norway now.

Question will be: Who becomes H-veen new coach?
